Econolite Systems implements the TeamEPro Maintenance Management System in the Las Vegas Metro Area

The Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) of Southern Nevada is the administrator of the regional Freeway and Arterial System of Transportation (FAST). As such, RTC is responsible for the maintenance of hundreds of ITS devices in the Las Vegas metro area.

Econolite Systems’ maintenance management system (MMS), TeamEpro, was selected by RTC to support their FAST maintenance division. TeamEpro schedules and tracks preventive maintenance activities for Variable Message Signs (VMS), CCTV cameras, and detection stations. TeamEpro’s graphical user interface is map-based and provides on-line access for field technicians using laptops or handheld devices. Econolite installed, configured, and integrated teamEpro and made it a seamless part of the RTC’s FAST program.

A unique feature of the project was the development of a custom interface to the agency’s freeway management system to capture alerts and errors encountered during maintenance requests.
